Employees are required to use face coverings whenever they are inside or in any public space, unless the employee is a person exempt. Face coverings should be worn whenever employees are interacting with campers, walking through hallways, walking through parking lots, and while walking through any other public area. Individuals may be exempt from wearing a face mask when they (1) have an existing medical condition, mental health condition, or disability which prevents wearing a face covering; (2) when the individual is hearing impaired or when an individual is communicating with a person who is hearing impaired and requires the ability to see the mouth; or (3) when eating or drinking. If instructors are interacting with an individual who is hearing impaired, they must wear a face shield and socially distance from the student.
Instructors should remind campers and staff that face coverings should be worn and campers should be reminded to refrain from touching their face. If a student does not have a mask, they will be provided one upon request.
Any Employees who interact with food, including snacks and drinks, must use gloves and wear a face mask whenever interacting with food which is being prepared for or served to campers and staff. In further effort to safeguard campers, all food will be pre-packaged and pre-wrapped.
